South Africa’s Charl Schwartzel says he is happy with his joint third place at the Northern Trust Open US PGA tour event at the Riviera Country Club, California, at the weekend.  Schwartzel fired a final round-one under par 70 to end on a 10 under total for the week.  Schwartzel says he felt comfortable on the course and that he will strive to continue this form. 

Meanwhile, countryman and four-time Major champion Ernie Els produced a last-round three under 68 to finish in joint 13th place.  Trevor Immelman struggled to a one over 73 on Sunday and ended in a tie for 38th.
