Hennenman - A family of three were killed when their home caught fire at Phomolong township near Hennenman last night.

Free State police spokesperson, Mamello Mokhuoane said two women, aged 21 and 45-years old and a 3 year-old boy burned to death.

The fire is thought to have been caused by an electrical fault on a two-plate stove in the house. Mokhuoane said the possibility of foul play was ruled out.

The family's name can only be released once their next-of-kin have been informed.
