The ANC in the Northern Cape has committed itself to achieve a 70% victory in next year's elections. South Africa will hold its fifth national elections next year, which will also mark exactly 20 years of freedom.
More than 210 delegates from the Frances Baard region held a conference at the Rekaofela Resort outside Barkly West this past weekend. The conference focused on preparations for the 2014 national and provincial elections.
ANC Provincial secretary Zamani Saul says the election of office bearers went smoothly.
Meanwhile, Saul told OFM last week that 30-000 people would be recruited to work full-time on assisting the ANC in the Northern Cape to prepare for next year's elections.
