Bloemfontein - The Proteas won’t allow rain to dampen their sprits ahead of today’s crucial ICC Champions Trophy match against the West Indies in Cardiff.
The West Indies pose a different threat to that of Pakistan, with star batsman Chris Gayle being tipped as the key wicket. Gayle has had a modest record against the Proteas in recent years, but is not the only threat with the bat for South Africa’s bowlers.
The South Africans are also boosted with the fact that Dale Steyn has been declared fit for today’s match. Aaron Phangiso will most likely make way for the Phalaborwa-Express.
Should the Proteas go into the match with two spinners, Chris Morris may play the role of 12th man.
With rain looming in Cardiff, AB de Villiers says they will approach the game like any other game…
