Alcohol advertising regulation adequate: Sacci─── 16:15 Wed, 19 Jun 2013
The SA Chamber of Commerce and Industry believes there's sufficient regulation in the alcohol industry and that a total ban of alcohol advertising isn't necessary.
Peggy Drodski has been commenting following the release of the draft Control of Marketing of Alcoholic Beverages Bill.
Drodski says a recent study has shown that if the ban is given the go ahead, it could result in 12 000 job losses and a reduction in GDP of about R7.4-billion.
