Kimberley - Louis Eiman of Kimberley is over the moon after being announced the grand winner of a brand new Nissan Micra valued at R162,800 in the recent Clicks ClubCard Mega Millions Competition.
He received the keys to his new wheels at Clicks New Park Centre, Kimberley, on February 18.
“It was just unbelievable. It came as a huge surprise,” said an ecstatic Louis, who said that this was the first time that he had ever won anything like this.
Entry is automatic for all Clicks ClubCard members, who qualify with 100 ClubCard points earned by any of the qualification dates.
This competition awarded over 500 prizes to lucky ClubCard members, which ranged from the Nissan Micra as first prize to Avis car rentals, seven night stays at the City Lodge group, voyager miles from SAA and a six night cruise to the Seychelles provided by Thompsons, valued at R40 000.
Clicks Customer Marketing Executive David Hazell said that Mega Millions is a way of thanking customers for their continued support. The ClubCard Mega Millions Competition was first launched in 2011. In 2013 alone, 1 677 lucky ClubCard members won prizes across three Mega Millions competitions.
Hazell said that the next Mega Millions Competition is already running, with entries closing on 15 May 2014. “It is so easy to win and there are fantastic prizes up for grabs. By swiping their ClubCard every time they shop at Clicks or an affinity partner, customers can earn points and participate in fantastic competitions such as this one,” he said.
