Bloemfontein - Sri Lanka have secured their spot in the final of the ICC T20 World Cup by beating the West Indies by 27 runs according to the Duckworth-Lewis method in Dhaka.
Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first in the rain interrupted semi-final.
The sub-continent side scored 160/6 off their allotted 20 overs with Lahiru Thirimanne top-scoring with 44 and Angelo Matthews adding 40 to the score.
The Windies were set a target of 108 runs off 13.5 overs due to the rain, but fell short after scoring just 80 for 4 with Dwayne Bravo contributing 30.
Sri Lanka face the winner of the second semi between South Africa and India today.
