Spurs thumps struggling Sunderland 5-1

Bloemfontein - Tottenham Hotspurs moved back up to sixth in the English Premier League standings after thumping relegation bound Sunderland 5-1 at White Hart Lane.
 
The side from the North East took the early lead in the 17th minute though a Lee Cattermole goal, but from there on out it was all Spurs.
 
Emmanuel Adebayor found the back of the net for the Londoners in the 28th minute to take the game into the break all square.
 
Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen each scored before Abebayor scored his brace.
 
Gylfi Sigurdsson wrapped up the win in the 92nd minute the sides 5th goal.
 
Spurs manager Tim Sherwood praised his sides win.
Sunderland languish in last spot on the log agter their 18th loss in the league.
