Suspect arrested for guest farm murders─── 08:16 Mon, 21 Apr 2014
Phuthaditjhaba - Police have arrested a man in connection with an attack on a guest farm near Harrismith in which one couple was killed and another seriously injured.
According to Eastern Free State police spokesperson Mmako Mophiring, police found a couple aged 62 and 46 shot and killed in the bedroom at Tweevley Guest Farm early yesterday.
Another couple was also allegedly attacked.
The man was stabbed with a garden fork and the woman was shot in the arm. She managed to flee the scene with her children, who were unharmed.
Her husband was later taken to a nearby hospital. The suspect was arrested later in the day and will appear in court tomorrow.
