Chelsea lose Terry and Cech for rest of the season

Bloemfontein - Chelsea will be without goalkeeper Petr Cech and captain John Terry for the rest of the season after they were injured in last nights’ draw against the La Liga leaders, Atletico Madrid.

Atletico and Chelsea played to a goalless stalemate in their Champions League semi-final first leg on Tuesady after the Spanish side failed to break down their ultra-cautious visitors at the Vicente Calderon.

The Blues will also be without Frank Lampard and John Obi Mikel for next weeks’ return leg due to suspension.

The loss of Terry and Cech could hammer the sides title chances in the English Premier League ahead of Sunday's match against Liverpool at Anfield, in the match which has been labelled as the league decider.

In tonight’s first leg semi-final Champions Bayern Munich are at home to Real Madrid at the Allianz Arena.
