Loxton - Impoverished residents of Loxton and Vosburg in the Northern Cape will benefit from a poverty alleviation project being launched in the Pixley Ka Seme District Municipality today.

Provincial Finance MEC, John Block launched the ‘Rooting out the Dust’ project in Loxton this morning.

He says it entails the upgrading of streets, brick-making and the manufacturing of concrete slabs for stormwater channels.

Block says R1,7 million has been budgeted for the project with 30 people benefiting in Loxton alone.
