Penghu - As many as 45 people are feared dead after a TransAsia Airways passenger plane crashed on one of Taiwan's Penghu islands Wednesday, Taiwan's Central News Agency reported.
At least nine other people were injured in the crash of the twin-engine turboprop plane, which happened outside Magong airport at about 7 p.m., CNA reported.
The cause of the crash wasn't immediately known.
The plane had taken off from Koasiung, Taiwan, CNA reported.
