#THROWBACKTHURSDAY = Slave to the music | News Article
Today's featured duo is from the country who left the FIFA world cup last night, sorry Netherlands! Let me take you back to 1993, the world wide web was born, you probably watched box office hit Jurassic Park and the first episode of “The X-files” was aired. Time to sing along to…. Slave to the music!!

Twenty 4 Seven is a Dutch Eurodance act, created by record producer Ruud van Rijen in 1989. Active sporadically ever since, the act has featured nine different vocalists, has performed across Europe and Africa, and as of 2010 is fronted by Li Ann and Stacey "Stay-C" Seedorf.

One of the earliest popular Eurodance projects, the project originated as a hip hop group, and transitioned to the mainstream Eurodance sound in the early 90s with "Slave to the Music", the band's most successful single to date. The group originally featured rapper Tony Dawson-Harrison, who created the Captain Hollywood Project in 1992. Usually Nancy Coolen (Nance) performed along with rapper Tony Dawson-Harrison, more commonly known by his stage name, Captain Hollywood but in 1993 he was replaced by rapper Stay C. Nancy teamed up with Stay C for their 1993 hit “Slave to the Music” – check out this very 90’s video!!
