Let’s go back in time – playing you the songs that disappeared, the songs that will bring back memories you almost forgot about! We go back to the year 2000.
We all laughed as Mel Gibson tried to figure out “What women want” and I cant believe it’s been 14 years already!! He is probably still figuring in out. The song I take you back to has appeared on numerous lists around the world ranking it as one of the songs with the worst lyrics ever! It reached number 2 on the AOL list of 100 worst songs ever! The group formed in the late 1970’s and was known as High Voltage. In 1991 they changed their name to what we know them as today: the Baha Men.
Their music style is mainly Junkanoo with a very traditional Bahama sound although they are an English group from the London.
"Who Let the Dogs Out?" also earned the band several awards: a Grammy Award in 2000 for Best Dance Recording; Billboard Music Awards for World Music Artist of the Year and World Music Album of the Year; and a Nickelodeon Kids Choice Award for Favorite Song.
