'Mobilisation against Boko Haram unsustainable'─── 13:41 Tue, 03 Jun 2014

Bloemfontein - A senior researcher at the Institute for Security Studies says he doubts that Africa will remain mobilised as seen by current campaigns against Boko Haram.
Martin Ewie was responding to what he termed the “overwhelming response” by the international community to the kidnapping of Nigerian school girls in April.
Ewie says it’s a pity that it took the kidnapping of the girls to awaken the world to the danger posed by terrorism.
Ewie says it’s also a concern that no African leaders or even the African Union, the continents’ continental body, has come out clearly against taking steps against terrorist groups.
