Incumbent Sudanese president expected to win elections─── 12:23 Wed, 15 Apr 2015
Karthoum - With voting expected to end today in Sudan, analysts say the incumbent president Omar al-Bashir will win the elections.
Presidential and parliamentary elections began on Monday.
Bashir has been in power since 1989. His National Congress Party (NCP) is up against a handful of minor candidates, as most of the main opposition parties have boycotted the polls.
Bashir is wanted by the International Criminal Court on charges of war crimes. The Institute for Security Studies’ Andrews Atta-Asamouh says the result is a foregone conclusion…
