Bloemfontein - Kovies student, Wayde van Niekerk has qualified for the final of the men’s 400m sprint at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The South African national record holder over the distance came 2nd in the 2nd semi-final from lane two to clock the 4th fastest time, in 45.41 seconds.
Meanwhile, South Africa's two men's long jumpers Rushwahl Samaai and Zarck Visser progressed to today’s.
800m Runner, André Olivier and 400m women’s hurdler, Wenda Nel, will also be competing in their respective finals.
