Talk about putting yourself out there...─── 11:20 Sat, 06 Dec 2014
If Lynne Adams looks familiar, it might be because you’ve seen her face on a coffee cup or the top of a latte.
Adams, 37, was offered the unique chance to boost her Match.com dating profile using an unconventional strategy. Her face is printed on 1,000 to-go cups and as a latte stencil.
The idea fits because Adams has always loved grabbing a drink with a potential boyfriend.
She told the Mirror,
I’ve always liked coffee shops and do a lot of my dating there.
A lot of my dates say I’m quite a quirky person, and this is definitely quirky, so getting my profile out there using coffee suits me fine.
At Cup coffee shop in Glasgow, it’s up to the barista to determine who gets one of Adams’ special edition cups.
Each has a link to Adams’ dating profile, which elaborates on her love of the gym and commitment to her finance career.
The laidback Scotswoman says even if she doesn’t meet the right man, she’ll have “a few stories to tell.”
And for his part, coffee shop owner Paul Reynolds says it’s nice to be able to help out after seeing so many dates come in and out.
He added,
We are thrilled that we can hopefully find Lynne that special someone… the run-up to Christmas is always a magical time and we’re hoping that we’ll see some sparks fly from this activity.
Even if the dates don’t turn out, Adams and her date will be nicely caffeinated.
