Bloemfontein - The Rajasthan Royals claimed their third win of the IPL competition by beating the Kolkata Knight Riders on boundary count in Abu Dhabi.
The match was forced into the Super over after the sides we all square on a 152 runs off their allotted 20 overs.
Ajinkya Rahane top scored in the Royals innings with a brilliant 72 of 59 deliveries, while Shane Watson surpassed the 2000 IPL-run mark for the Royals with a knock of 33.
Gautam Gambir top scored for Kolkata with his knock of 45, with Suryakumar Yadav adding 31 to the cause.
The drama however didn’t end with the Super Over.
Both sides scored 12 runs during the extra over, with Rajasthan being awarded the match for scoring the most boundaries during the match.
