Bloemfontein - The Chennai Super Kings have gone to the top of the Indian Premier League standing after thumping the Delhi Daredevils by 8 wickets in Delhi.
The Daredevils were the first to bat and wold have backed themselves for the win after scoring 178 for five off their allotted 20 overs with Dinesh Kartik top-scoring with 51 off 36 deliveries.
Dwayne Smith of the West Indies had other ideas as he blasted his way to 79 off 51 deliveries in a knock that included 4 fours and 8 sixes to steer the visitors to their sixth win.
Suresh Raina supported him well in the run chase with an innings of 47 not out off 27 balls.
