Bloemfontein - The Proteas are upbeat over a series win when they face Sri Lanka in the second One Day International tomorrow.
The South Africans go into tomorrow’s match against the T20 World Champions, with a 1-0 lead, following Sunday’s 75-run win.
The win saw the visitors scored their highest ever total against Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka.
It also marked just their third win over the Sri Lanka in the 50 over format on their home soil.
Former Chevrolet Knight all-rounder, Ryan McLaren, speaking out of Colombo, said the side is starting to show character in tight situations.
He went on to say that there is always room for improvement as they are building toward next year's ICC Cricket World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Tomorrow’s 2nd ODI gets underway at 11:00 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
