Black Caps spinning great and former captain, Daniel Vettori has confirmed that he will be calling it a day on his international career.
The 36-year-old Vettori had been widely expected to call it a day in international cricket at the conclusion of New Zealand's involvement at the recently concluded Cricket World Cup.
Australia beat the Black Caps by 7 wickets in the final on Sunday at the MCG in Melbourne, with Vettori taking 15 wickets during the tournament.
During his illustrious career, Vettori took 362 wickets in 113 Tests and 305 wickets in 295 One-Day Internationals.
With the bat he scored 4531 test runs with 6 centuries and a highest score of 140, while in ODI’s he scored 2253 runs.
