Proteas sqauds for Bangladesh are set to be announced | News Article

Cricket South Africa are expected to announce their three squads for their tour to Bangladesh today.

The tour to the subcontinent in July will see the men in green and gold in action at international level for the first time since being bundled out of the ICC Cricket World Cup in the semi-finals.

There aren’t too many surprises expected in the T20 International, One-Day International and Test squads, however with AB De Villiers, JP Duminy and Morné Morkel set to miss part of the tour, a few new faces can be thrown into the mix.

The trio are all expecting the birth of their first-borns.

Strike bowler Dale Steyn earlier hinted at cutting his tour short with his sights set on another Cricket World Cup.

The tour gets underway on 5 July with the first T20 International at the National Stadium in Mirpur.

Next week Tuesday, the team will announced New Balance as the side new technical apparel sponsor, while the annual CSA Awards takes place on Wednesday evening at Gallagher Estate in Johannesburg.
