The Knights cricket team got their 600km 15 hour Wattbike challenge underway this morning with the team peddling in aid of charity.
The side are undertaking the challenge in conjunction with the Sports Performance Clinic and the Love Lettie Fund in order to raise awareness for breast cancer.
Morné Castelyn who is the fitness trainer of the team and is involved with SPC told OFM Sport that the Wattbike is a lot tougher than regular gym bike and in order to produce results a proper sweat needs to be broken.
The cricketers will each tackle a 40km ride on the Wattbikes in order to meet the target.
Wicketkeeper-batsman Rudi Second, started a little after 5am this morning before heading off to join the Proteas Spinning camp.
