Frank Schleck was banned for one year by Luxembourg's anti-doping body for failing a drugs test in last year's Tour de France.
Cyclicst Frank Schleck was banned for one year by Luxembourg's anti-doping body for failing a drugs test in last year's Tour de France. Schleck, who was third in the 2011 Tour, tested positive for a banned diuretic. Lada president, Robert Schuller says Schleck can appeal the sanction, which was back-dated to the 14th of July last year. But he says if the punishment stands, Schleck will miss this year’s Tour, which gets underway on the Mediterranean island of Corsica on the 29th of June.
