Tour de France organisers have unveiled plans for a series of celebrations to mark the 100th edition of the bicycle race.
Organisers of the Tour de France have unveiled plans for a series of celebrations to mark the 100th edition of the world's most famous bicycle race later this year. The Tour, which starts in Corsica for the first time on the 29th of June, will take in some of France's most famous landmarks. One of the highlights will be the finish on the 21st of July, which will include 500 of the 1 400 former Tour de France riders who are still alive. There will also be a photo exhibition celebrating the 100 years of the Tour at the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris.
