North West aims to involve women, youth in game breeding─── SABRINA DEAN 07:59 Tue, 18 Aug 2015
Bloemfontein - The launch of a unique game breeders transformation project in North West last week is hoped to open the door to opportunities for particularly women and the youth.
Spokesperson for the provincial department of Rural, Environment and Agricultural Development Thandiwe Moripe-Thabethe says game breeding is an important economic contributor to the province. She says they are working in collaboration with SA Game Breeders:

The project, launched by the provincial agriculture MEC Manketsi Tlhape and Premier Supra Mahumapelo at the Eiland Game Resort near Swartruggens, is slated as the first of its kind in the country.
Moripe-Thabethe says they will be embarking on several awareness and education campaigns before moving on to identifying candidates. She says it is critical to identify people with passion:
