Bloemfontein - 20-Year old Jordan Spieth who is part of the United States team for the Presidents’ Cup, fired an ace during practice at the Muirfield Village, Dublin, Ohio.
Spieth shot the hole-in-one on the par-3 12th hole from 173 years using a 7-iron.
South African’s Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel tee off at 18:09 this evening against Phil Mickelson and Keegan Bradley.
Ernie Els and Zimbabwean Brendon de Jongh tee off at 18:21 against Steve Stricker and Spieth.
At 18:45 the last two South Africa in the International team Branden Grace and Richard Sterne tee off at Zach Johnson and Jason Dufner.
Zimbabwean Nick Price's 12-man International squad will be helped by having six four-ball matches on day one rather than the alternate shot foursomes, the first time since 1996 they have been played in that order in a format switch made at Price's request.
