Bloemfontein - Morten Orum Madsen became only the 9th foreigner to win the prestigious South African Open at the Glendower Golf Club in Edenvale, Johannesburg.
Madsen fired a last round 67 to end the tournament at 19 under par.
It was enough to earn him his first win on the European tour after his 28th event.
The Kimberley-born Bloemfontein professional Jbé Kruger finished in joint second with fellow South Africa Hennie Otto.
Charl Schwartzel who lead the majority of the tournament fell back during the final round and had to be content with fourth.
