Donald happy at Wentworth | News Article

Former world number one and two-time BMW PGA Championship winner, Luke Donald of England is looking forward to teeing it up in front of his home crowd at Wentworth.

Donald beat his compatriot Lee Westwood in a play-off in 2011 and then beat Scotland’s Paul Lawrie and South African-born Englishman Justin Rose the following year by four strokes.

Last year, Donald finished in tied third after going into the final round leading, only to be edged by world number one Rory McIlroy and Ireland’s Shane Lowry.

Donald said walking down the 18th fairway at the West Course is always an adrenaline rush.

The 37-year-old Donald added that he enjoys playing in front of his home fans.

The event at the Ernie Els re-designed course tees off tomorrow.
