Oosthuizen paired with Woods, Day | News Article

The tee-times for the 144th Open Championship were released yesterday with the South African golfers drawn in some interesting pairing.

South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen who won the Claret Jug in 2010 will be teeing it up in the 19th group alongside fourteen-time major champion and former world number one, Tiger Woods and Australia’ Jason Day.

This three-ball will get underway at 10:55…while two-time US Open champion, Retief Goosen will be the first South African to take to the field.

At 8:50am he will tee-off with Ireland's Shane Lowry and the American, Kevin Streelman.

Next it’s the turn of two golfing legends and four-time major winners…The Big Easy - Ernie Els and the USA’s Tom Watson with Brandt Snedeker at 9:33am.

Ten o’clock sees 2011 Masters champion, Charl Schwartzel, face off with England’s Ian Poulter and the somewhat eccentric two-time Masters winner, Bubba Watson.

While Jaco van Zyl, Thomas Aiken and George Coetzee are all in the field as well, Brandon Grace will be the last South African to tee-off, along with the USA’s Jim Furyk and England's Paul Casey with the three starting at 15:56.

The Open Championship at the home of golf tees-off on Thursday and runs until Sunday.
