Ireland and the United Arab Emirates are busy facing each other in both teams second match at the World Cup.

The men from the Emerald Isles are still riding high after shocking the West Indies last week in their opening match of the tournament.
 
The Irish won the toss at the Gabba this morning and elected to field first.
 
The Hawks of Quraish got off to the solid start with the willow, with openers Amjad Ali and Andri Berenger opening with a 49 run opening stand before Paul Stirling struck twice with the ball.
 
A short while ago the side from the Gulf State limped to 115 for four off 30 overs.
 
Before the match, Irish skipper William Porterfield said they are targeting at least a quarter-finals berth.
 
Meanwhile, in Canberra Zimbabwean fast bowler, Tendai Chatara has landed himself in hot water for breaching the games code of conduct during their 73 run loss to the Windies yesterday.
 
Chatara was reprimanded after pleading guilty to breaching Article 2.1.8 which relates to conduct contrary to the spirit of the game.
 
Tomorrow Scotland and Afghanistan face each other at the at the University Oval in Dunedin.
 
While these two teams aren’t the best in the competition they match should provide thrilling view the two sides at pretty much the same strength.
 
The Scots were the top qualifiers of the associate nations, while the spirited Afghanis are playing in their first tournament.
 
South African-born Scottish captain, Preston Momsen said it would be brilliant if they can win their first world cup game in the city affectionately known as the “Edinburgh of the South".
 
In Melbourne, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are preparing face each other at the colosseum of cricket tomorrow.
 
Sri Lanka captain, Angelo Matthews says having a host of all-rounders in their team is a definite advantage.
 
Tomorrow morning’s match in Dunedin gets underway at midnight, while Sri Lanka vs. Bangladesh at the MCG starts at 5:30.
