Kimberley - Defence attorney Riaan Bode has told the Northern Cape High Court that the minor convicted of the Griekwastad triple murders will have no chance of eventual parole unless experts can confirm he has successfully completed rehabilitation programmes, admitted guilt and shown remorse.
Bode is delivering closing arguments during sentencing proceedings in the court in Kimberley.
A 17-year-old boy was earlier this year found guilty of the murders of Deon, Christel and Marthella Steenkamp on their farm Naauwhoek in April 2012.
The minor was also convicted of one count of rape and defeating the ends of justice. The boy continues to deny guilt.
