Bultfontein - A third suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the stock theft case.
According to Isabel Kruger of the Red Meat Producers Organisation, Bloemfontein lawyer Goodman Pshangang, Joseph Nguru and their co-accused Erick Ndinga are accused of being part of a stock theft syndicate.The three allegedly stole stock in, among others, Schweizer-Reneke, Heilbron, Kroonstad, Edenville and Bultfontein.
Joseph Nguru remains in custody at the Kroonstad prison after he was arrested in June.
The other two suspects are currently out on bail of R5000 each. Their next appearance will be at the Bultfontein Regional court on September 11.
