Bloemfontein - A man has appeared in court in connection with a break-in that took place on Sunday at the Woodland Hills Wildlife Estate in Bloemfontein.

Police spokesperson, Chaka Marope, says 31-year-old Solomon Sithole was arrested on Tuesday, when a suspected stolen camera was found in his possession.

The police found the victim by circulating pictures on the camera of a particular number plate to various police stations to find out whether the owner of this car did indeed loose a camera. Thus police were able to possibly link Sithole with the break-in at Woodlands.

Other items that were stolen include four plasma TV’s, clothes, blankets and jewellery to the value of R150 000.

Marope says more suspects are being sought.
Sithole remains in custody.
