Bloemfontein - The ANC Youth League (ANCYL) in the Free State says the Mayibuye iTextbook Retrieval Campaign will continue throughout the province.
ANCYL provincial chairperson Makalo Mohale says every Friday and Saturday will be textbook retrieval days.
He says as part of the campaign old academic and literary textbooks will be gathered from communities and sent to the departments of education and sports, arts and culture to be used at schools or local libraries.
Mohale says since the campaign’s launch in Bethulie last weekend, more than 200 books were collected, most of which are in good condition.

Members of the provincial ANCYL retrieved textbooks at the George Rantee Hall in Smithfield yesterday.
