• 1988: Mike Tyson smashes TV camera outside his Bernardsville NJ home.
• 2004: Beverly Mashinini wins a bronze medal in the Athens Paralympic Games.
• 2004: Wheelchair athlete Ernst van Dyk, cut off from a certain gold medal by Mexico's Saul Mendoza in the 1 500m final Athens Paralympics at the Olympic Stadium, wins a silver medal.
