Harrismith - A Harrismith farm owner says emergency services have not arrived at his property after runaway veld fires that have destroyed vast areas of farm land.
George Galloway says the damage to his farm Tygerskloof is enormous.

Retired pastor, Johan Mocke, his fifteen-year-old son Zander and a farmworker, who hasn't yet been named, were killed on Mount Everest Game Farm while trying to fight the fires.
A government delegation is expected to visit the area today where it is hoped declaring the area a disaster area will be considered
