Ramaphosa arrives in Lesotho | News Article

Johannesburg - SADC facilitator and South African Deputy President, Cyril Ramaphosa, has arrived in Lesotho for further mediation to bring stability to the country.

His spokesperson, Ronnie Mamoepa, says Ramaphosa will continue with his facilitation efforts on behalf of SADC.

He will by supported by SADC deputy executive secretary, Themba Mhlongo, who was leading the regional body's team of experts and members of the secretariat including Zimbabwe, Namibia and Botswana.

According to Mamoepa, Ramaphosa is expected to return to South Africa on Wednesday.

This will be Ramaphosa's third visit to the mountain kingdom after Lesotho has been in turmoil since an attempted coup on August 30.
