Mahikeng water remains clean for drinking: Department─── DANE BEISHEIM 16:09 Fri, 24 Oct 2014
Mahikeng - The North West Department of Local Government and Human Settlements has again reassured residents of Mahikeng that the water in their municipality is not contaminated and remains safe for drinking.
This follows the recent results of the comprehensive tests, done on tap water in different parts of Mahikeng, which were released this week. The results showed that there are no traces of poison, E.coli or any other contaminants in the water.
This comes in the wake of recent rumours that the water in Mahikeng had been poisoned by individuals dissatisfied with interventions by the provincial government in Ngaka Modiri Molema district municipality.
