FS police act fast to recover stolen live stock─── CHRISTAL-LIZE MULLER 12:47 Tue, 28 Oct 2014
Phuthaditjhaba - Police in Phuthaditjhaba in the Free State have arrested three suspects early this morning in connection with stock theft.
Police spokesperson, Mmako Mophiring, says police received information from the community about stolen live stock being held at a local home.
Police crime prevention and stock theft units acted fast. He says upon arrival at the house police recovered three stolen cattle of which one bull was brindle and the other yellow, as well as a cow. According to him the three animals are believed to be worth R27 000.
The three suspects are expected to appear in the local magistrate's court tomorrow. Mophiring has thanked the community for the tip off.
