Man killed in NC accident─── 07:04 Sun, 23 Nov 2014
Kimberley - A man has died after the car he was travelling in overturned on the R31 outside Kimberley, paramedics said on Saturday.
"Shortly before 11pm [on Friday] paramedics from ER24 Kimberley arrived on the scene where they found the wreckage several meters into an open veld next to the road," ER24 spokesman Werner Vermaak said.
The man was ejected from the vehicle and was found in the veld with critical chest injuries.
Paramedics stabilised the man on the scene but he died on the way to hospital.
Three other people were treated for various injuries.
