Bloemfontein - The Motheo ANC Youth League in the Free State wants the ANCYL’s provincial chairperson Makalo Mohale, to step down.
Chairperson Ephriam Motshwane, says Mohale parachuted his way to his recent leadership position.
He says Mohale isn’t even a member of an ANC ward branch. Motshwane was speaking at a media briefing in Bloemfontein this morning.
He says Motheo didn’t vote for Mohale during the provincial conference in Harrismith in June this year.
Mohale was however announced the provincial chairperson. Motshwane explains that some of the current ANCYL leadership including Mohale are sabotaging the normal political functioning of the region.
Motshwane says furthermore Mohale suspended their regional secretary Fani Ledimo on November 18 without relevant reasons and the region finds it difficult to accept the suspension.
