Mmabatho - North west Police in Mmabatho are investigating a case of assault after a 2-year-old girl was allegedly burnt with hot water.
According to SAPS spokesperson sabata Mokgwabone the incident allegedly occurred last week Thursday at one of the area’s local Early Learning Centres in Unit 13, Mmabatho. He adds the child apparently soiled herself, after which one of the centre’s employees washed her, seemingly with scalding water which led to development of blisters on her buttocks.
Investigation into the matter continues, and no one has been arrested at this stage.
