Two drownings reported in NW on Christmas day─── 11:27 Sat, 27 Dec 2014
Zeerust - North West police are investigating two separate drowning incidents on Christmas day.
Police spokesperson Sabata Mokgwabone says in the first incident at a lodge in Zeerust, an 11-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool at approximately 16:40.
He was allegedly found floating in the pool after vanishing while with his family.
In the second incident at around 15:00 in Dinokana village, a 19-year-old man drowned in a swimming pool.
It is alleged that he was with family when he also vanished and was later found floating in the pool.
