UFS to review Rag programme─── THANDI XABA 06:39 Fri, 30 Jan 2015
Bloemfontein - The University of the Free State say will review the RAG programme after the completion of this year's Rag.
This is in response to over 100 letters that were handed-over to the University by a Bloemfontein animal activists group called ‘Ban The Bang’ yesterday.
The animal rights group's concern is that the annual event, which includes a fireworks display, is held at Chevrolet Park Cricket Stadium, which is situated right next to the city's Zoo.
The fireworks display is part of the annual RAG procession and will take place on Saturday evening from 8pm.
