Bloemfontein - During his State of the Province Address Premier Ace Magashule highlighted the following:

The renaming of government buildings have been highlighted. The Lebohang building will be called OR Thambo House. CR Swart building will be called Fidel Castro building.
 
FS Premier announces the construction of 8 new schools.
 
Provincial government will launch the Free State OR Tambo Marathon.
 
FS premier says the provincial government is proud of the controversial Vrede Integrated Dairy Project. Phase 1 has been completed.
 
Provincial government secured R20m to assist in redressing the impact of veld fires in Eastern and North-Eastern FS.
 
The Señorita Nthlabathi Hospital in Ladybrandt will officially be open in September 2015.
 
A total number of 1 170 appointments were made in Health departments - medical staff.
 
FS government will start major construction - a water pipe from Xhariep Dam that will strengthen the supply to town in Naledi municipality.
 
FS govt will take 105 kids off the street and 28 women "who ply their trade in streets" and enroll them at educational centers.
 
The construction of the R74 - Harrismith/Oliviershoek-pass road will start this year.
