Kimberley - The Sol Plaatje Municipality is busy with mop-up operations after yesterday’s cloudburst.
Spokesperson, Sello Matsie, says the storm was the worst ever recorded in the city’s history. He says they are however grateful that no injuries were reported.
The Kagisho catchment dam overflowed and thousands of litres of water from the dam damaged houses in the process.
