Brandfort - A young rugby player who sustained a head injury during a school rugby match in Brandfort on Saturday has since been discharged from hospital.
Michael Odendaal (15) was airlifted from the school to the Rosepark Hospital in Bloemfontein after he sustained the injury.
According to hospital spokesperson Esmarie Cronjé, a scan showed that Odendaal had sustained a concussion.
Cronjé confirmed to OFM News this morning that Odendaal was discharged from hospital just before 6pm yesterday.
