Alleged petrol thief on the run in Free State─── CHRISTAL-LIZE MULLER 12:25 Tue, 03 Mar 2015
Welkom - Free State police in Thabong, Welkom are looking for the driver of a Nissan bakkie with blue and white stripes on the sides in connection with theft of petrol worth more than R3 000.
Police spokesperson, Mamello Mokhuoane, says the driver allegedly asked the petrol attendant to fill his vehicle and two big grey containers with petrol at Lenyora Engen filling station at Oppenheimer Park, Welkom on Sunday at about 02:00.
Mokhuoane says the man, wearing an orange T-shirt, fled the scene without paying.

She appeals to anyone with information to call their nearest police station.
